Why we’ve chosen Passenger ‘Let her go’.

We’ve decided to choose passenger let her go as our song because its current music video isn’t very extravagant nor does it have a narrative even though the song is very well known. By choosing a song that is well know we know that people would want to watch our video to see how we have interpreted the piece. In addition to this the song itself is very self-explanatory when it comes to the lyrics it has (ie ‘staring at the ceiling in the dark’) therefore making the piece easier to film seeming as many music videos from the pop section have they’re video correlate with the lyrics of the song. An example of this is in Ed Sheeran ‘Give me love’ when is states ‘I just wanna hold ya’ then shows two art manikins holding each other.

Another reason why we've chosen to use this Passenger song is because it would be more realistic and cost-effective to do a song like this then a big rap song which would involve alot of cars and money. By chosing this song we have also chosen its sense of style which is very simplistic and easy to portray.
